The Smell Of Winters
A poem about winter nostalgia
1 min readOct 16, 2019
The smell of winters is like that of no other
It's a bit of nostalgia and your grandmother’s pillow covers
There’s a bit of coffee in there somewhere too
Like the one you used to beat for hours, to show your brother no-one makes it better than you
There’s also that smell that you can't explain, but feel in the air
From the static electricity generated between your hair and the sweater you like to wear
The smell of winter is like no other
It's a bit of nostalgia and the smile of your mother
