According to a New-York-based dietitian, a slice of pizza might actually be a healthier breakfast option than your everyday cereal.
A slice of pizza and a bowl of cereal are on the opposite extremes of a potential breakfast spectrum.
So the question is: Which of the two is the healthier option.
Although this should be a no brainer and you answered Cereal in a heartbeat. However, according to a recent interview with a dietitian based in New-York, Chelsey Amer, a slice of pizza might actually be a healthier breakfast option than your everyday cereal.
“Pizza can be a more balanced breakfast option than many sugar-filled breakfast cereals”, She explained.
The cereals that are being sold today in the market are almost entirely made up of sugar and only a small percentage of other healthy nutrition required in a healthy breakfast.
