Remember how we were all made to believe drinking coffee was injurious to health and drinking more than 1 cup a day can lead to lethal consequences like possible health attack and stroke in the long term?

The European Society of Cardiology was informed that even 1 cup of coffee a day could potentially have negative effects on the arteries, in 2001. They further stated that it could lead to high blood pressures that are usually found in the elderly.

According to professor Metkin Avkiran, an associate medical director at King’s College London:

“Understanding the impact that coffee has on our heart and circulatory system is something that researchers and the media have had brewing for some time. There are several conflicting studies saying different things about coffee, and it can be difficult to filter what we should believe and what we shouldn’t.”

Well, time to forget all that. If you are a coffee lover, this is for you!

According to a recent study, it was found that drinking up to 25 cups of coffee produces the same effect on your health as drinking less than one cup of coffee a day.

The study was conducted by experts from the Queen Mary University Of London, where a group of 8412 individuals was selected and divided into 3 groups.

According to Dr. Kenneth Fung, a professor at Queen Mary University Of London:

“Despite the huge popularity of coffee worldwide, different reports could put people off from enjoying it.”

The first group consisted of those who drank only 1 cup of coffee a day. The second, those who drank 1 to 3 cups of coffee a day. And the third group consisted of those individuals who drank more than 3 cups of coffee a day — even up to 25 cups.
