Are Extroverts Really Happier Than Introverts?
In a room filled with some very loud extroverts, you always see a very content introvert — minding her business and reading her book.
Do you ever find yourself standing in a large group of people, with each one of them talking loudly except you? Do you believe that talking in general when it doesn’t add value to the conversation is useless?
Then you are an introvert.
Being an introvert does not mean you do not have an opinion, because you do. An introvert can have the strongest of opinion about something but decide not to vocalize it because they are smart.
Unlike extroverts, you do not feel the urge to say something unnecessarily at all times. Introverts are extremely thoughtful and calculated people.
That is what essentially separates an introvert from an extrovert.
Introverts are smarter than Extroverts.
While an extrovert talks, an introvert listens. When the extrovert is busy speaking, an introvert thinks and calculates before he speaks.
So while an extrovert — no matter how chatty and confident — is standing next to an introvert, they only seem dumb.
